Description
As an Israeli-American who has called Israel home for the past 20 years, I bring a unique perspective to guiding visitors through the fascinating history and landscapes of the Galilee. My tours of Yodfat and Tzipori offer more than an exploration of ancient ruins—they are an opportunity to connect the past with the present and to better understand the people, cultures, and stories that have shaped this land. At Yodfat, we explore the dramatic story of the Jewish revolt against Rome and the courage, struggles, and choices of the people who lived here nearly 2,000 years ago. At Tzipori, we discover a remarkable center of Jewish life and culture during the Roman and Byzantine periods, where Jewish tradition, Roman influences, and the wider Mediterranean world intersected. My background allows me to bridge the perspectives of American and Israeli visitors. Having grown up in the United States and built my life in Israel, I understand the questions, assumptions, and cultural differences that can shape how people experience this country. I can help American visitors see Israel beyond the headlines, while offering Israelis a fresh perspective on how their history and society may be understood by people from abroad. As a licensed Israeli tour guide with a passion for nature, ancient history, and the complexities of Israeli society, I aim to make history accessible, engaging, and relevant. Through storytelling, thoughtful questions, and connections between ancient and modern life, I invite visitors to experience the Galilee not simply as a place to see, but as a place to understand. Whether exploring the resilience of the Jewish people at Yodfat or the rich cultural encounters of Tzipori, my goal is to create meaningful experiences that deepen understanding, spark curiosity, and bring the history of Israel to life.
