Description

The Bible Lands Museum presents the ancient cultures of the Near East: Egypt, Mesopotamia, Canaan, Persia, Greece, Rome, and the world of the Bible. The museum places biblical history within its wider regional setting. Its objects help show how people wrote, traded, worshipped, ruled, made art, and understood the world in the periods that shaped the biblical tradition. The story is not of one people in isolation, but of a shared ancient world in which ideas, gods, goods, and political power moved constantly between neighbouring cultures.
