shvil.io Terms of Service

1. About the platform

shvil.io is a directory and inquiry platform that connects international travelers with licensed tour guides and registered experience providers in Israel. shvil.io itself is not a tour operator and does not sell, arrange, or guarantee any tour.

2. Our role

We provide the platform. We do not:

  • take bookings on behalf of guides or providers,
  • collect payments from travelers,
  • act as an agent, employer, or partner of guides or providers,
  • guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or accuracy of any listing.

    • All agreements — pricing, terms, cancellation, payment — are directly between the traveler and the guide or provider.

    3. Who can list

  • Guides: must hold a valid tour guide license from Israel's Ministry of Tourism.
  • Experience providers: must have appropriate licenses, insurance, and safety credentials for their activity.

    • We may verify credentials at any time. Listings without valid credentials will be removed.

    4. Your responsibilities

    By using shvil.io you agree to:

  • provide accurate information (name, license, contact info, tour details, pricing),
  • honor the terms you publish (pricing, availability, safety, cancellation),
  • comply with all Israeli laws relevant to your work,
  • treat travelers professionally and respectfully,
  • not misrepresent yourself, your credentials, or your services.

    • 5. Content you publish

    You retain ownership of the text, photos, and other content you upload. By publishing to shvil.io you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, cache, resize, and promote your content on the platform and in reasonable marketing (screenshots, previews, social posts). We may remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

    6. Fees and subscriptions

    Profile listings are free. Publishing tours or experiences requires a paid subscription (see pricing). Promo codes may be offered from time to time. Subscription details may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

    7. Reviews (future)

    We may collect and moderate reviews from travelers. Review display, moderation policy, and dispute handling will be added as this feature launches.

    8. Termination

    You may stop using shvil.io at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any listing or account that violates these terms, misrepresents credentials, or damages the trust of travelers.

    9. Right to change

    We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features, pricing, and policies at any time. Material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

    10. No warranty; limitation of liability

    shvil.io is provided "as is". We make no warranties, express or implied, about the platform's availability, accuracy, or suitability for any purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, shvil.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any transaction between a traveler and a guide or provider.

    11. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Israel.
